I'm a highly caffeinated graduate whose life goal is to promote diversity and inclusivity in publishing. I live in the UK in a constant state of organised chaos. Since graduating from an MA in Publishing and Creative Writing, I have self-published a magazine, edited several anthologies and acquired crucial digital skills. I contribute to The Publishing Post's LGBTQ+ section and typesetting, edit at Ta Voix, and I'm developing a non-fiction book for children. Currently looking for my first role in the publishing industry. Hobbies include cross stitching, embroidery, sewing and writing fanfiction. Windsurfer, sailor and swimmer.

I’ve enjoyed some of the classic lesbian literature I’ve read, like ‘Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit,’ ‘Rubyfruit Jungle,’ and ‘The Color Purple.’ The older YA novel ‘Deliver Us from Evie’ was also surprisingly good. As far as modern stuff, I really like Mariko Tamaki’s graphic novels. I haven’t read any of these yet but I’ve heard some great things about Sarah Waters! 🙂

I will look into Mariko Tamaki more! I only know her through “Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me.” I know she started her own queer graphic novel imprint?! Very excited to read more of the work ^^
Sarah Waters is great fun. I hope you’ll enjoy her books!
